The first example of parquet flooring, as made up of decorative panels or tiles, dates back to 1624 in England, but on an Italian inspiration (very likely by Andrea Palladio and Sebastiano Serlio); the purpose was not only decorative but also functional, to get a more balanced resistance against natural timber pushing and sliding. Today Friulparchet uses the most advanced technology to perform these works both on classic and customized patterns.
